Canada 2009 Endangered Polar Species Stamp set

On April 09, 2009 Canada Post issued a set of two postage stmps under the title "Preserve the Polar Regions and Glaciers" as a part of an international stamp campaign for the awareness of global warming. This set of two Se-tenant stamps feature the polar bear and arctic tern. Both the species are in danger of extinction due to Polar ice cap melting.

1st One Frame National Philatelic Exhibition in India

Baroda Philatelic Society has organized Stampmania 2009 - First National One Frame Philatelic Exhibition at Baroda from 18th to 20th December 2009. Vanue of the Exhibition is Shree Saurashtra Leuva Patel Seva Samaj, Near B. I. D. C., Gorwa, Vadodara-390 008.

This will be a great opportunity for Indian stamp collectors, philatelists and stamp dealers to meet each other, interact, buy and sell as hundreds of people from all over India interested in Philately and Stamp collection will be visiting this wel-organised event.
